Early Emmys ratings fall, could be lowest ever

EW.com—The early and preliminary 70th Primetime Emmy Awards ratings suggest the show might hit a new all-time low. According to NBC, the results from 56 metered markets show a 7.4 household rating. That’s down 10 percent from last year’s telecast which tied 2016 as the least-watched Emmys on record. More accurate, time-zone-adjusted numbers will be available later Tuesday.
