Mother Nature Smiles On Cherry Blossom Festival

New Haven Independent -

New Haven Independent—The cherry blossom trees hadn’t quite popped, but it seemed that spring had — finally, maybe — Sunday just in time for the 45th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival in Wooster Square.

A bright Cherry Blossom Festival in SF’s Japantown. The 51st annual Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival wrapped up on Sunday with expected attendance over two weekends expected to top 200,000 people celebrating Japanese and Japanese American culture along with the spring blooming of cherry blossoms. The final day featured a grand parade beginning at San Francisco City Hall and ending in Japantown.
