Flight Attendants Say They Haven't Been Trained On How To Deal With Sexual Harassment

NPR.org—More than two-thirds of flight attendants say they have been sexually harassed or assaulted on the job, but also say they're not trained to deal with such misconduct when they or passengers are victimized in the air.

After decades of sexual harassment, flight attendants are getting their #MeToo movement. A union survey of flight attendants found that nearly 70 percent have been sexually harassed on the job. Now, the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, which also represents South Florida flight attendants, is working to develop new policies for handling misconduct.
