    A tractor-trailer became wedged under the overpass of the eastbound lanes of the I-395 Expressway, according to Miami Fire Rescue.     A car crashed into the front a medical center Friday morning in Coral Springs, authorities said. The incident was reported just before 11 a.m. at 8112 Wiles Road. Coral Springs Fire Rescue officials said a man was taken to Coral Springs Medical Center. The extent of his injuries was not immediately known. It's unclear what caused the driver to crash into the building.

  • Car crashes into tree, splits in half in northwest Miami-Dade

    A driver was taken to a hospital Friday morning after a car crashed into a tree, splitting it in half. According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the driver lost control of the car and crashed into the tree near Northwest 135th Street and NW 17th Avenue. A view from Sky 10 showed the mangled, charred debris from the wreckage. The front and back of the car were in two different pieces. The driver was taken to an area hospital as a trauma alert.

    An 88-year-old woman died Wednesday in a car crash along University Drive in Sunrise, authorities said.
